Chelsey S.
From a young age Chelsey has always been a lover of animals and has wanted to work with them, be it large or small. Chelsey has a wide range of experience with animal handling as she has worked with horses on her grandfather’s farm, to caring for her own cats at home.
In 2013 Chelsey graduated with honors from Sheridan College’s Animal Care Program. Shortly after graduating she joined Northpoint Veterinary Hospital’s caring team as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2017 she decided to peruse her career goal as becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Chelsey attended the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College in Haileybury. She graduated with honors in 2019 and successfully passed her final examination be become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Chelsey returned to the Northpoint family as our very own RVT/ practice manager and performs multiple tasks within the hospital from taking radiographs to preparing, monitoring and recovering patient for surgeries. Chelsey job also consist of blood collection, running in house laboratory tests, monitoring and assisting with surgeries, caring for hospitalized patients, dispensing medication, providing client education and so much more.
At home Chelsey has 2 cats, 2 rats, a German Shephard/Husky, and a very large gold fish. When she is not working at Northpoint Veterinary Hospital she enjoys going to family outings and spending time with her furry friends watching movies.

Jodie K.
As long as she can remember, Jodie has always had a huge passion for animals. If given the opportunity, Jodie would own every animal needing adoption. Jodie has been working in the animal field for many years now. She started off at a pet store as the kennel manager and started working in the veterinary field in 2005. She has a gained a wide range of experience since working in this field for the past 18 years. Her duties here at Northpoint include restraint, assisting in surgery and blood collection, radiographs, dispensing medications and helping clients to the best of her knowledge. Jodie has completed several nutritional modules to help clients have a better understanding on how food plays such a huge role in a pet’s nutrition. Jodie currently owns 2 crazy, fun and loveable Boston Terriers named ‘Derby’ and ‘Thor’ and a hedgehog named 'Rosie'. She hopes to someday adopt a Bernese Mountain Dog. In Jodie’s ‘down time’ she is kept busy chasing her 2 sons Hudson and Brody around and spending time with her Husband Chris.

Ganeev
Ganeev grew up watching her dad practice and study veterinary medicine, from which she discovered her passion for animals. Although she grew up without a furry friend, she realized her love for animals very early on in life. When she was about 14, she started volunteering at Northpoint and found that her love for animals grew greater. She was then hired as a staff member and her love for animals increases more everyday. At home, Ganeev has a beautiful maltese, named Roxy.
Ganeev is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree, majoring in psychology and neuroscience at Wilfrid Laurier University. Although her goals for the future are unclear, Ganeev is considering pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.

Luna W.
Luna has always loved animals from a young age and as she aged realized she had an affinity for animals. Luna graduated from Seneca's Veterinary Assistant program in 2019 and was soon hired by Northpoint in 2020.Luna is a proud pet to my new Dwarf Netherland Bunny "Bean" . Her Hamster "Timbit" and Rat "sushi" Luna is considering going back to school to pursue being a Veterinary technician.

Gabi
Originally from BC, Gabi moved here with her three children and fur babies in 2016. Gabi started her journey in the veterinary field in 2001, at the age of 17. She has worked in numerous clinics over the years, gaining more valuable knowledge and experience in both small and large animal, along the way.
From surgery prep, anesthesia, bloodwork to client education, she does it all.
She originally joined Northpoint back in 2017 and was a team member for 2 years. She took sometime off from the Veterinary industry to only figure out that she was born to do this. She rejoined Northpoint in 2021 as Office Manager and Veterinary Technician and was determined to finally finish her studies.
After a long career in the Veterinary industry she will finally graduate from Thompson Rivers University and be a registered Veterinary Technician as of 2023.

Harleen
Harleen has been working at various veterinary clinics around the GTA for the past 2 years and recently joined the Northpoint team in February of 2022. She is going into her fourth year of Biological Science at the University of Guelph and is looking forward to furthering her education in veterinary medicine and animal care. Harleen spends her free time volunteering for Autism Dog Services, spending time with family, and enjoying the outdoors.

Tania
Tania has always had a passion for animals, and so joining the Northpoint team was a perfect fit for her! Not only does Tania love developing a relationship with our furry patients, but she also values establishing a strong connection with our amazing clients. Apart from working at Northpoint, Tania is a full time student at Ryerson University. At home, Tania has a handsome but silly Labrador, named Tyson. Tania looks forward to going to work each day and contributing to the comfort of all of our four-legged friends while in our care.

Olivia
Ever since a young age, Olivia has aspired to become a veterinarian due to her immense love for animals. Olivia joined the Northpoint team in December of 2021 where her passion for animal care grows everyday. In the upcoming fall, Olivia is looking forward to attend her first year at the university of Guelph in the biological sciences. Olivia is furthering her education and pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and animal care. At home Olivia has a Weimaraner named Ozzie who she enjoys spending most of her time with as well as with her close friends and family.
